Guest, Speaker, Performer Bios - Suresh Benegal

Suresh Benegal is a harmonium player from Langhorne, PA. He learned the instrument when very young and has accompanied well-known musicians for not only Indian classical music, but also Bollywood and other genres. He is a renowned accompanist, having accompanied Pandit Jasraj and several of his senior disciples, Prabha Atre, Kankana Banerjee, Shubhra Guha. He has also performed for many local artists and at many past Konkani Sammelans in North America. He will be accompanying Balachandra Prabhu, Padmini Rao, and Bharat Kundaje.
